Komepapa just done his work. He won’t play his favorite game today, but he will go for a drink. However, he forgot an important thing.

    A Small Piece Of Advice

Is lending and borrowing money, the end of a relationship?

Most Japanese often go drinking with their colleagues and bosses after work. We do have “year-end party” and “new year’s party, also “drinking parties” are generally held in each season, such as “Hanami” and “summer night party”. Whether it is for the company or department, or just for personally, Japanese like to hold drinking parties to communicate with each other. You could say that Japanese love drink parties.

By the way, Komepapa forgot his wallet even though he is going to drink with his collogues. He is trying to borrow some money from his colleague forcibly, but lending and borrowing money could cause a trouble, basically you should not do that. Some companies have rules that prohibit the lending and borrowing of money. However you should be careful lending or borrowing money in the workplace, even if not prohibited. The work is not done alone. Teamwork is very important to develop the work. If you lend money to someone and they do not return for a while, you will not be able to trust them from the bottom of your heart. Then, it would have a kind of impact on your work. It is important not lending or borrowing money to keep your work going smoothly.

In Japan, there is a saying “金の切れ目が縁の切れ目(Kanenokiremega ennokireme)” it means a relationship that is made up of lending or borrowing money will end because of money. Let’s make a relationship without money!
